Ya, I was gonna say, ain’t so beautiful out there. Very chilly for sure.

However though Ray, if it was so easy to see what has been hurting us, then why did so many fail in their predictions the last two years? That’s what doesn’t make sense, or is “Nonsensical.” And it’s never just one thing…we all know this. It’s always a combination of things. So, I’ll wait to see what happens again. Before I believe that it will be bad again? Or good? I always appreciate your efforts on your forecasts. And will never down anybody’s attempts. I don’t know enough to take a stab at something like that. But I do know it’s never just one thing.

He can come to my town(25 minutes away)…we have a nice little mountain ski area here in Southington. It’s not Vermont obviously…but it’s a good little place with lots of lifts and a good race school/team too. But ya, it can get pricey. But our ski area offers lots of different packages for all different budgets now a days.

Well first of all, I didn’t say your outlook sucked. I said that most everyone(pro or hobbyist) couldn’t figure it out as the last two seasons were upon us. I’m not blaming you, or anybody that put out an outlook, I’m saying that it’s very difficult to see what may or may not hurt or help an area in November of the upcoming forecasted season, let alone a few years ahead. And that’s a fact. Things change, and nuances occur that cant be seen at a few weeks lead, let alone a few years. So there in is my point. The weather embarrasses us all when we try to talk in certainties…even at short length. When we’re saying things like the next few seasons will be lousy…that’s just nonsense imo. Because what’s happening in the pacific, can change over time. It’s all good. We all have our own ideas about things.

And you get so defensive about your outlooks….so I guess if that’s how you feel, then we both have things to work on. Scott was messing around, and I played along. The point was, We couldn’t figure out the last two seasons as they were upon us. But somehow we/you know that the rest of this decade will be lousy? That’s comical.

I don’t have an issue at all admitting warmth. It’s been real nice the last two weeks(liked it)…but it won’t be the next two weeks. That’s the only point.

Eventually it will.

The irony is…when we want beach weather to set in, it doesn’t. Hopefully this year it can and does.

Ya with clouds and breeze, that sucks..that’s the point. Believe me, I’d love 60, with light wind and sun now. I hate this time of the year if it’s not going to snow.

Ya cuz long term forecasts are so reliable…and going out 5-6 years has good verification scores .

It’ll be below normal tomorrow here. And it may not be an overly cold temp…but when it’s cloudy and breezy with temps in mid 40’s this time of year, it feels shitty…period! Now you can twist it anyway you want…but that sensible weather blows. Full sun and no wind, and 55-to near 60 is what we want. I was 13-14 degrees under that today, with wind and clouds. That type of weather plain Sucks.

Ya…then a snow storm the next day like it did the last time it was 81 in February. So ya, bring it.

It wasn’t warm here Scott. Stop pushing the BS warmth that wasn’t today. Maybe it was warm in tropical SE Mass, but it wasn’t here. If the sun stayed out more…maybe we could have gained another 5-7 degrees. Tomorrow gonna be cooler still.

Greta is a f’n loon..period. You were 50 today…but not here. At noon it was 44 here and cloudy and breezy and damp/cold.

Oh We’re letting em go….and they’re going down. Tomorrow gonna be 5 degrees cooler than today, and today was lousy here. Here comes the shit we knew would come.
