    We had a positive trend for some on Tuesday, when the colder air held tough and over performed in a lot of inland area. It was a small win in that regard. So maybe we can keep the trend going…?

    Exactly. But we have pro METS talking about sun angle and warm ground. Laughable.

    Honestly, where do some of these METS(NWS/TV etc) get their flawed ideas/knowledge from, that they are misleading the general public with. It’s pathetic actually.

    So in layman’s terms, it’s really no big deal, right? We are in a Niña…does the SOI tanking mean the Nina is getting stronger, or again you have to measure it along with the other indexes you mentioned, to actually know anything. Sounds like a lot of mumbo jumbo that tells us very little in the end.

    I remember shoveling my girlfriends garage roof(had a very low angle on it) at the very end of January that year(2011), and the roof had 36-38” on it…and the middle was so dense and icy…frieken nuts. Took like 4 hrs to do. We had piles so high that we were jumping off the roof into them.

    Yup had 10” with that one in early January…that was the start of that epic run..unreal.

    You don’t remember the Norlun in early Jan 11? 10 inches here. It was awesome.

    When is this fraud 5 supposedly progged for? They’re notoriously hard to pin down…when they do rarely happen.

    My point is we have the cold, and the chances look to be there…that’s about all we can ask for, especially early on in December. Just a little patience, climo is now quickly becoming more favorable for us as we move through the next couple weeks.

    Kind of the tenor(if I do say so) of the early season so far….to mute the big long range looking torches as they move closer to go time. Not a bad tenor to have if you like wintry weather.
