  1. It is exactly that. But it’ll cool back a couple degrees long before that. Bottom line…it’s still gonna snow the rest of your life and your kids lives too. Don’t you worry Luke. Driving your car ain’t gonna stop that.
  2. 36 this morning…frosted roofs and windshields. None on the ground/grass. Probably needed another degree or two for that. Next week it’ll happen. Very crisp this morning…feels great. We have a village reconstruction project going on in town, and the officers working the jobs directing traffic, are all bundled up along with the construction guys. Gonna get beautiful this afternoon though…this is good stuff.
  3. 100% CORRCT! I’m glad you’re pointing this out. The rhetoric is complete BS in CT. Been a very comfortable late summer. And autumn is behaving like autumn here.
  4. Think positive…don’t fall into the troll trap. It’s not healthy Scott.
  5. Nobody posted that. You and Tiger torch said no frosts into Dec…that’s what was being denounced, and challenged. Autumn is in firm control in SNE is the point.
  6. I was just thinking the same thing. The good ol days are back I guess. The guy jinxed himself.
  7. Lol they were today at powderdrieks place. And Alex has had frozen too. And I was talking autumn, not winter.
  8. Where do you live? It’s felt like autumn here since it’s been autumn. Cool mornings and very dry and comfortable days…autumn in late September and early October. In the 50’s currently…that’s big time autumn. You’re funny.
  9. Good post. You gotta be able to see past the hyperbolic crap(which you seem to be able to do). Been a great 6-8 weeks. And Autumn this year is feeling ..well, like autumn.
  10. Yup…we transition. Progressing nicely. Looking and feeling like autumn should.
  11. Out croppings and Testicles…what is happening here…?
  12. And so it begins. We move on and look forward to the longer nights and cooler days.
  13. Ya…gorgeous there. Wet here this morning, and overcast now.
  14. Was all wet here when I went to work..truck was soaked and ground all wet, must have had a passing shower.
  15. It’s not going to hit Florida at this intensity…so that needs to be kept in mind.
  16. Obviously way out there, but that depiction is a nothing burger for 99.9% of the area. But as you said, it’s always worth a look. At 12 days out, we know that won’t be the track of whatever forms. So as you said, a casual eye is warranted.
  17. Yes. I saw on the news that some Northeast/New England areas might get fortunate and get a glimpse of the Aurora due to the recent big solar flare. Very Nice.
  18. Yup…that was ground zero there for that beast.
  19. As it should in the first week of October. And Nope…didn’t miss it. Not questioning your temp..but it was 10 plus degrees colder away from the water.
  20. That 51 is not even close to being representative of inland locations. You guys are in your own micro climate there.
  21. True. But they’ve been under the gun a lot, and then escape a direct hit. Just an observation.
  22. Tampa will escape another one I’m betting. Something always saves them.
