    Totally agree. Usually in similar setups we're worried about the stubborn Candian highs being so stout and dry through the column that it eats away at the northern edge of the approaching system and delays precip onset by hours. Maybe there's just not enough (any?) downstream blocking to keep the high anchored in the favored position long enough.
