  1. yep - happens every time. We aren't seeing midday temps around 10F here. DCA can barely get below 20F at night lol (hasn't yet so far this year).
  2. yeah - they will likely win. even getting one playoff win was not the level of progress I think a lot of Commanders' fans thought we'd get this year.
  3. lol just out of curiosity checked on the Lions' playoff record - they've won two playoff games since the Eisenhower administration lol. So it could be worse.
  4. the last time Washington won a playoff game, Twitter didn't exist. Facebook was not even 2 years old. There were no iPhones.
  5. lol in two years post Snyder look where we fucking are.
  6. lol I was in 1st grade the last time that Washington even won this many games in the regular season and I'm in my 40s now
  7. this year has been a lot of "long time to wait for X" lol
  8. big time gradient also between urban and suburban/exurban areas with little wind.
  9. High of 44F here, same at DCA Currently 34F (33.6F) here, a little cooler at DCA - 32F.
  10. are you seriously arguing that the location of KNAK (the US Naval Academy) has the same level of urbanization around it as DCA? What nonsense are you on about? Right now DCA is at 41, and basically all the PWS around it are reporting approximately the same temp (39-42F). It's low of 28F is mostly inline with the stations in Crystal City, Pentagon City, Rosslyn, downtown DC, Navy Yard, Old Town Alexandria, etc. It was only 2F warmer than my station that is 350+ feet higher in elevation (but still well within the urbanized area). again, people would complain about the same nonsense in NYC when KNYC wasn't representative of their random-ass suburb somewhere in the middle of NJ. Sorry dude, it's not the station for your little town.
  11. it's just becoming more connected to the broader Baltimore-Washington urban area (it's technically in the Baltimore metro but also part of the broader combined statistical area that has a population of about 10M).
  12. DCA is in the middle of an urban area that is many times larger than Annapolis.
  13. Chargers - Texans game is ovah.
  14. we're probably close to that mod-heavy snow. Plow came by again (he must be salting) lol
  15. lol a fucking plow came through already gotta be because the Japanese ambassador lives down the street
  16. Leesburg is gonna get rain now because you didn't put in the effort. Good going.
  17. wouldn't recommend that if you like having running water
  18. light to mod snow - everything covered.
