    hell yes - it's simply more pleasant out if it's in the 50s and 60s vs 20s/30s with bare ground. if you don't like the bugs - i mean, look where we live.

    Currently 30F, low of 24.4 in Tenleytown. DCA bottomed out at 27F, up to 35F now.

    Cold day today - lol we've acclimated to the new "base state". High of 43 but down to 33 now up in the high altitude hills of Tenleytown.

    Well DCA is positioned to get below freezing overnight for the first time in more than 2 weeks, so that has to be a good sign right?

    yeah living in that area for years, i am doubting the ice forecast - this isn't the right set up for it. Up in the mountains a different story like you say.
