Always things to worry about in the weather world. Did we not have that dry look before in very early December ?
It was seasonable cold I recall, but about 12 days in a row of no rain nor snow. I remember telling my daughter ever since I put the Christmas lights up outside it has been dry. I put them up earlier this early versus most years as I thought we were going to get nailed near mid month, alas that did not happen.
I do feel there will be storm oppurtunities if the pattern as depicted sets up.
I was just talking to someone yesterday about my lights. Right after I put them up, we went into a snow drought. The day I took them down, it snowed.

You guys are posting a ton about a rainstorm this weekend.
Someone thoughshould check on Voyager, he might off himself with this pattern.
It’s only part rainstorm, and trending colder. Could be a secondary wave that rides up the arctic front and nails us. Too close to not pay attention. -
I thought the ICON did ok with the storm on Saturday.

What model is the ICON and how seriously can we trust it? Is it a new model? Seriously, I don't know what it is.
German model.

Alright I just figured out the quoting thing. No need to copy and paste. I love winter weather the most, absolutely, but I find myself rooting severe weather of most kinds in the "off" season. This is a hobby for me, gives me something to be excited about. Age doesn't matter for this hobby! For the guys close by(working or home) awesome, always nice to be hoping for a good hit close by.
I work in Mount Joy, so I'm near E-town.

Still think we're in a good position for the weekend storm.

Flurries have just returned here.
You are correct about Harrisburg hitting -22. I remember that clearly. What I don't remember and what I'm curious about is how low did Thomasville get. Have to think they approached -30.
I remember being at Penn State (Altoona) for my freshman year and things were shut down. Before that, I believe that PSU shutting down at all was unheard of. I'll never forget going outside after the worst was over and 18 degrees felt like a heat wave. Crazy.

Nice, thanks. Just happy to get some snow to cover and ground and make it feel like winter before the main event(s) get here (hopefully).

I can't say I have paid attention to what is happening further south. I know for my backyard it is a bit better.
Does that mean southern York County is also better?

What about a resurrected DGEX?

No we prefer not to openly discuss politics here in the weather subforums.

It's not even allowed in banter? If we just avoid talking about our problems as a country they will continue to get worse.

That actually happens enough in your life to require a NY resolution? Time to find some new friends.

The worst part is looking at where the Low will be. Perfect placement for LSV snow. Damn.
