I think the clouds are due to the heavy Pacific influence this winter. When you have that Canadian arctic air (which we've barely had) it is associated with high pressure which equals less clouds.

When I first read this I thought you were making a joke and comparing our futility to that of the southeast i.e. S. Carolina, Georgia, etc.

I know, we get sucked into it. I did too, but deep down I expected it to be another head fake....

Agreed. It’s so frustrating and we are not the only ones frustrated. I’ve had multiple people ask me when it was going to snow. That they missed it. It’s just not normal for this area of the world to be without it for this long.

Looks like areas to my southwest are getting nailed right now. Northern Carroll and Baltimore counties....

And before Blizz comes in a says it's not a shut out, in southern York and Lancaster counties it has been so far.

At this point I am assuming we will be shut out. If something happens, then I will be pleasantly surprised.
