    The “powers that be“ are actively trying to defund NOAA. I would think that would trickle down to a lot of services, including computer models.

    The energy has not been properly sampled because it’s not onshore yet.

    I'm not complaining. It's more of a query. Why are they struggling so much?

    I have never seen this degree of uncertainty with the models. Big changes can happen, even within 72 hours. No way to know what late January will be like at this point.

    You are way too obsessed with forecasted highs and lows. A forecast is a hypothesis. An educated guess. An attempt to tell the future despite variables that are part of the ultimate chaotic system. It reminds me of people who send death threats to local weather people when they get a forecast wrong. Smarten up!
