  1. My personal favorite adult experience was the 2010 twin blizzards. I’ve never seen that much snow in this part of the world. Over 50 inches on the ground. My wife was pregnant at the time and our heat went out during the second storm. Luckily, the sun came out the next day and the heat came back on. Best childhood memory was the blizzard of ‘93. It was during my senior year of high school. Went to bed with a thunderstorm and temps in the 50s. Work up to 15 inches of snow blowing up against the front door. There was also a huge accumulation of sleet under the snow. Amazing storm!
  2. Tired of watching horrible offensive coaching. Hopefully the new PSU OC is the real deal. As far as Brian Johnson, fire him into the sun.
  3. Embarrassing. I’m done with this coaching staff. Just complete ineptness across the board.
  4. This clown makes me mad. This is why people don’t trust forecasts. This jerk right here.
  5. Yes, I know. So was mine. This dude is out of his mind and uses the CFS constantly.

  7. This thread has been unreadable for weeks. At least they have meteorologists who are regularly posting with trolls mixed in. Here the trolls are running the place.

  9. Lots of focus on high temperatures on operational models over a week away. Focus on the pattern. El Niño is not known for super cold. Just cold enough.
  10. Pretty sure that’s the last time the Susquehanna froze all the way across.
  11. Not that it matters, but I would take 5 or 6 4-8 inch storms over one 20 inch storm. What I love most about winter is snow cover, so I crave consistency the most, even if no big dogs are involved.
  12. No, Blizz plays a role on here. He posts the maps! Everyone is different.
  13. I just think people are frustrated. We’ve seen looks like this a lot in the last few winters and they just turn out to be apparitions. Hopefully this year is different.
