We were in Lancaster all day. And it was a warm sun.

If it weren’t windy it be a gorgeous day. 40 and sunny at 12:30 - but winds around 25 mph. Sun is quite warm still.

Forecast high is 35. It’s 38 at 10 am lol

The super low ceiling leads to me think of disorientation. It was a complete nose dive - hunch is they thought they weee stalling. The Learjet crash at TEB a few years ago had that iirc. Edit: also I’m jealous. In my next life I want a career in aviation. I have ~15 hours in a Cessna lol

Wednesday night was a helicopter pilot snafu, I bet some high up training pilot gets fired for that one. My guess tonight is spacial disorientation.

An air ambulance, none the less. hence the fireball - 02 bottles and a belly of fuel. Incredibly sad.

25% tariffs hit tomorrow. Oil costs gonna skyrocket since a lot comes from Canada. Along with fruit and veggies (Mexico supplied like 65% of those). Inflation was not great before - scary what’s about to happen.

You're a rare breed - unfortunately. So many brains have been broken but extreme news and social media and it's a cult like thing now. When politics start becoming identity for people, and a sport, is when it started to collapse. The complete disregard for humanity, facts and truth is just ... depressing as hell.

My friend's nephew was 16 - so yes it was teens who were trying out for national teams and all. @Itstrainingtime I understand your post about flying. I love it - but I'm weird. I can completely understand not liking the security theater, crowding, etc. But if it helps, flying has never been safer in America - ever - which is awful to say given last night's horrific accident. The Auto Train looks like a great way to get down to Florida - relaxing and all. Slow travel can often be the best kind of travel. Also, the guy who spoke this morning and blamed DEI is a garbage human being and his comments are, as always, abhorrent.

We know 2 people who were on the flight. It's heartbreaking.
