    Dinner at the 9th ranked restaurant in all of Canada - Bar Kismet. Tomato + cold water shrimp + shallot butter, arctic char + green beans, fried halibut cheek + corn + pickled shishito, and a blueberry walnut custard tart. And gin with purple plum + sage + orange.

    62 was the high today in Halifax. Tomorrow we head to PEI - weather looks rough. 20-30 mph winds and .5-.75” rain. Crossing the Confederate Bridge will suck.

    I don't think they've entered the hurricane remnants. I find it hard to believe they'll miss CPA. Edit: Looking at models this am it seems steering currents might keep it W of the MA actually. I'd think projector would send it across up out to sea and recurve W to hit the maritimes.

    I won’t be here for it but late this week the remnants of Helena (I think that’ll be its name) will hit this region pretty damn hard it seems. Instead I’ll be where the dsmn thing reforms in the Atlantic and pounds the island. Good times.

    I mentioned earlier about a possible tornado in HBG last night. Here’s a story about it.     No rain still but that line dripping S should end my personal driving on about 30 minutes. Has winds around 50 mph too.
