    Back in PA and it's a gorgeous sunny day. What have you guys been bitching about? I've not seen rain since last Friday or even many clouds since then!

    PEI fought against Canadian confederation- it’s a unique spot.

    It was the most bizarre microbrewery visit ever. Owner talked about “aliens” removing all workers during Covid and a woman who was there walked up to a 12 yr old and said “it took my 75 years to get this tall.” And then I mentioned a lot more roads are paved here since last time we weee here (11 years ago) and they literally started taking about tax dollars being wasted to pave perfectly good dirt roads and that dirt roads are better than paved roads as long as “stay off of them when they’re wet.”

    High of 66 here today. Greenwich National Park’s dunes are mesmerizing. The floating dock is so unique.

    Family’s dock wiped away and the poop / hot tub area is destroyed.

    Family that has a back yard along Sarasota Bay has the ocean lapping into their home tonight. First time in the 12 years of them there.

    Dinner at the 9th ranked restaurant in all of Canada - Bar Kismet. Tomato + cold water shrimp + shallot butter, arctic char + green beans, fried halibut cheek + corn + pickled shishito, and a blueberry walnut custard tart. And gin with purple plum + sage + orange.

    Yea - a Harvey-like situation down there in the Smokies. Scary times. They’ll get what they White Mountains did with Irene.

    62 was the high today in Halifax. Tomorrow we head to PEI - weather looks rough. 20-30 mph winds and .5-.75” rain. Crossing the Confederate Bridge will suck.
