  1. Yes, It would, But i would rather have the ground frozen then let it snow, But beggars won't be choosy..........
  2. It’s always better here with a closer in track due to the coastline and where this area is positioned along it, It’s the storms that take a track ENE from the BM that are not favorable for here.
  3. I like the look but i am applying the Scooter flags to it.
  4. Well, I stated my case earlier, Its one thing if there close to avg, But there is some pretty good duds in a similar setup too, More then i like seeing.
  5. Yup, A frigid airmass can be our foe
  6. That would be my take Ray, Probably Mod-Strong Ninos the bad years, But not sure.
  7. Of course, Will had a better memory of it then i did, I had to look it up but when i saw what the totals were, Now i knew why i didn't remember it...............
  8. What is BTV's annual totals? 85", Last 10 yrs or so we would be more inline with BTV's though, Other then 09-10, We have been well above avg.
  9. These are from what eartlight posted, Where are the others?
  10. That one was above avg 96.20", 86-87 was 97.20", 94-95 was 49.90", 02-03 was 56.60", 14-15 was 118.20" so its kind of can go either way, I'm not sure what type of Nino's those were though.
  11. I don't have the luxury to walk out the front door, lol, I have hunted in Livermore the last 30 yrs or so which is 35 mins away, I have a bonus tag in zone 22 which is in this area so i went out this afternoon to scope out an area not to far from the house, Also took a ride to Greene where i had hunted back in the 70's, Went up to an orchard where we use to hunt, saw it was hunting by permission only, And low and behold big doe walking between the first row of trees about 25 yds from the truck, She stops and looks at me in the truck, And just continues to walk up the row.............
  12. I can root but it won't matter....lol, Mod-Strong would not be very good, But we will take all the Miller B's we can get, We shall see how it goes with ENSO this month, I'm skeptical though.
  13. ...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EDT THIS EVENING... * Winds...West winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are likely through the early evening. However, a one to two hour window of damaging wind gusts around 60 mph will be possible. * Timing...Strong winds will develop across central and Midcoast Maine in the next couple of hours. The greatest risk for damaging wind gusts is early this evening. Winds are expected to diminish this evening. * Impacts...Downed trees and power lines are likely. This will result in power outages. High profile vehicles may have difficulty driving, especially on bridges and overpasses. Loose objects will likely be tossed around. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.
  14. Winds just picked up as the sun came out, Looks like we are mixing down to the surface, Gusting to 35 mph and it just started.
  15. Could be, But some look better then others, This one, I’m not as confident as years past, Not often you get a top to bottom along the EC with an above avg winter, I would probably have a different feeling if I was a little further south this year, But still to early to write anything off.
  16. 2.25" earlier this week, +RN all night, Going to check the stratus, High Wind Warning for late this afternoon, Great, Another 2.10" from yesterday.
  17. There is a few duds in those analogs in that outlook for up here, I'm on the fence so far for the upcoming winter, Probably could go either way.
