06z GFS is colder then the 0z run for the weekend system, Looks like more on the frozen side for NNE.

Seems like most of these lakes cutters dampen out and end up further east as we get into the mid range, Yeah those 60F calls up in NNE are tough to achieve this time of year with clouds and low sun angle.

Next weekends cutter on the 0z GFS would be a snow and ice storm for CNE/NNE, Just like all these other ones that look to shift east over time.

Heights ahead were better as well off the coast, So there were several improvements even if they were incremental.

It is better, Step the right way instead of the opposite, Northern stream s/w digging a little further south.

18z models as a whole were not good, Really need to see some moves back NW soon to even get eastern areas.

Fast flow doesn't allow for much if any amplification, I'm hoping as we move along in Jan it starts to get better.

lol, The euro has puked down the front of its robe here a few times recently, But that lead s/w needs to either weaken so its further north or speed up to get out of the way for the one following, Even slowing down the trailing s/w would help too, Don't know if we get any of these changes though but we have seen all winter inside a tighter window we have had changes so we have that to hang on to for now.

I'm going to hold out until 12z tomorrow, If we don't get improvements then it will be time to let it go.
