  4. Good move by GYX for this new zone, Those areas are just below the foothill region and many times forecast were under forecast from the Interior Cumberland zone. 000 NOUS41 KGYX 031650 PNSGYX MEZ007>009-012>014-018>028-033-NHZ001>015-032300- Public Information Statement National Weather Service Gray ME 1150 AM EST Tue Mar 3 2020 ...Changes to National Weather Service Gray Forecast Zones... Effective today at 1200 PM Eastern Standard Time, one county public and fire weather forecast zone for NWS Weather Forecast Office Gray, ME, will be adjusted into different zones. The Interior Cumberland segment of Cumberland County, ME, will be split along a line at Naples Town Center, southwest to Sebago and northeast to Casco. This change will result in county segments of Interior Cumberland Highlands and Central Interior forecast zones. The new Interior Cumberland Highlands weather forecast zone will have a UGC identifier of MEZ033. This new zone will include the towns of Harrison, Bridgton and Naples. These changes are intended to provide increased flexibility and improved accuracy of forecasts in the public and fire weather programs. These changes will result in more geographically precise forecasts as well as watch, and warning products for the public and will enhance web-based graphical product consistency and appearance.
  5. Nope, Pee break for the ladies...........
  6. Put 98 miles on yesterday riding local and for what snow there was, It wasn't to bad, We headed NW of here thru Turner, Buckfield, Canton and Jay area then back thru Livermore, Leeds, Greene and Lewiston, So whatever falls tomorrow will add to what we already have out there.
  7. I like 3-5" for this one, Looks like a good 6hrs of decent rates as modeled, Start time around 21z tues looks to be over by 10z or so Weds so the bulk falls overnight.
  8. I’ve been watching this the past few days, Been out riding, 3-5” looks like a lock for my area, Figured I’d post it in here seeing it only affects a few of us on the board and not much mention because of it.
  9. Sounds like financial ones..........
  10. Ha, Yeah, Tom, You and I have some ground to make up, Maybe we start tomorrow and then add to it mid week next week.
  11. Don't remember anyone from Eastport, I think cool spruce was in blue hill, He was our furthest east poster back on Eastern.
  12. Dusting last night from some of these squalls here.
  13. High of 34.5°F back down to 29.7°F and a special weather statement for black ice overnight.
  14. Need full coverage, White Christmas *CANCEL*
  15. Meso low FTW, At least we won't get skunked like we usually do on these squalls.
  16. Its not about us up here in there lol, That's why i posted it in here, The models have been moving more north with the whole system, I thought the GFS has done a good job so far on this, Wouldn't mind seeing a couple more tics north either over the next couple runs and overnight as we get closer, Right now, Barring us not getting the next weekend event up here, This month will go down well below normal for snowfall.
  17. Pretty big bump in the short term for the king on the clowns. 06z 12z
  18. Hasn't been in the cards so far for more wintry weather up here, Your area and mine kind of gets lumped into NNE which i consider more into CNE, But some think we all live in VT and had a record year last year and was off to a great start this season which is not the case, We have been up and down over the past several seasons though and really can't complain.
  19. It will be one i forget about.
  20. Wtf, another heavy rainer. Of course being modeled 7 days ago, it was a lock. God forbid it was snow. Just a mood killer and setback to getting on the trails Yup, Another rainer and another hit to the trails up north.
  21. I don't see any positives to saturday's event for wintry weather for anyone.
