    Everyone wants to get the older bucks that no longer can compete with the 3-4 yr olds, The thing is, The population has exploded up here due to many factors one being milder winters, I have 1 any deer permit (buck or doe) and was awarded 2 bonus ones that are does only, So theoretically i can harvest 3 deer this season.

    Most of the trophy bucks don't get taken until rut season when there guard is down.......lol

    Firearm season ,Expanded Archery started 9/11 and Crossbow regular archery has been open since 10/2, I missed crossbow season due to covid.

    Yeah its 95 once you get to thru here and its the Fairfield/Skow exit 133 to hit 201.

    Some of these runs are cutting it to our west so the trough placement is definitely up in the air, Something to watch anyways now that the boring HHH has ended and we look to be seeing a more active pattern going forward, Lets hope the weeklies have a clue late month, It would be good to start Dec of with some snow, Always a better sign for winter when its starts early.

    It would be on RTE 201 off of 495, Come Jan-Feb there are sections like a wash board with the frost so yeah it will rattle your teeth ha ha.

    The higher elevations are in play for the first one "if" the GFS is correct, That next one you mentioned looks like its has more cold air in place to work with too.

    Another close call today on the 12z GFS run for the 4-5th next week, I think the NW areas of NNE would be in play for snow, Upper level temps look like the would support snow in those areas.

    Just keep the signal there the next few days worth of cycles on the models to gain some momentum towards a potential threat.
