    I've ice fished their between Rockwood and Kineo years ago and ice thickness was 36"+.

    The main part of the lake by Kineo froze early this year with the cold december we had.

    They look to do ok verbatim, 3-6" or so, We will see if that holds going forward and if other modeling picks up on it.

    Warm sectored on the first wave of Lp friday then post fropa over the weekend we get a follow up in a better airmass and a return to frozen on the GFS.

    I remember quite a few of them, I had 2 1970 Olympics back in the early 70's and back in the 60's my buddies parents had bought a new 1968 olympic, They use to have snowmobile races back in the 70's at the Lewiston Fairgrounds on the 1/2 mile track so a lot of those cats, doos, poos motoski, Sno Jet, Skiroule, Alouhettes and Mercs were all prevalent, That was the boom of the snowmobile era where all manufacturers were trying to get into the snowmobile business.

    18z Nam really blows this low up towards DE Maine down to 987mb dropping a foot there, May watch this to see if this can happen a bit sooner in the next 24hrs, That would at least get some accumulating snow further west but as of now, Its a bit to late for most, Nothing else better to do.........lol

    Much better actually i think, I eat both, Cut the bodies, Cut off the heads clean and rinse, Recipe is simple for these, 2 tbl spoons Salt, 1c Flour, I place them in a zip lock, Shake them up and fry them in cooking oil, It makes them crispy, Supermarkets or fish mkts up here will carry them in season too. https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/236481/fried-smelts/
