Talk to my buddy this morning in Eustis, There 15 miles past Sugarloaf, Told me they've had 10" since New Years, 3" of that was Saturday, They'll be fine with this one and would get upslope on the backside anyways.
The early phase and retreating HP is not doing us any justice at this time, We will need improvements on both fronts to at least ward off the warm air intrusion even into the ski areas of VT/NH and Northern Maine.
It kind of has a wave riding up the front once it clears the coast, I'd be pretty skeptical of that, But it did move a bit east with the trough and SLP from 06z a bit.
It looks like you would be inline for at least backside snows with this verbatim, But i would think you would see some on the front end too though, Winds are SW for a time before veering more ESE
It had a us furnaced last week on the friday system and the cold air won out, We didn't have the qpf, .10" or so with 1.5" of snow as the bulk stayed south, But temps never got out of the mid 20's once the front sagged south of here.
