  1. Winds are suppose to dissipate here after midnight tonight, That's when i think the the overnight low temps will start to respond

Cool Canadian airmass will bring the possibility for the first frost or freeze across low-lying interior areas Saturday morning. Confidence is highest for temperatures to drop to the freezing mark across the valleys of Coos County and the Western Maine Mountains. Low to mid-30 temperatures are expected in the foothills regions with upper 30s for areas closer to the coast. Frost and freeze headlines could be issued on Friday for Saturday morning. Gardner`s should plan to protect any late season sensitive plants. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
  3. 61/43°F, Still quite breezy and a brisk feel outside today even in the sun, It doesn't have the same effect as July.
  4. 57/41°F here, Just was out for a walk and its quite breezy out of the north this morning.
  5. Saturday morning should be a radiator special up here, Some may see there first frost.

  9. I don't know what folks expectations are, Outside of the high dews, It was a very good summer weather wise.
  10. I'm inland from there, But It all averages out, Where i recreate in the winter, There's plenty of snow up there, That's what matters most.
  11. By 7:30pm now you can't see your hand in front of your face, We go to 12/12 light/dark on 09/26 up here, Fall is upon us.
  12. Low this morning was 47.5°F, Chilly start but looks like awesome weather for the weekend.

I had spaced them 39" apart Luke, I wanted them to mesh as a privacy screen, Planting them that close only allows them to get to 18-24' tall, I say only, But i have the (Emerald Green variety) It allowed me to block the view on the other side sooner, I have seen some that were spaced 4-6' apart (Thuja Green Giants) that would grow to 40' but that would take longer to fill in obviously.
  14. I've seen plenty that look like crap after the deer get to them, With arbors, Once you lose branches or sections, They don't grow back, That's one of there favorite foods, Thankfully i don't have a deer problem, Or i would take care of it if i did ha ha
  15. I have 59 of them, When i planted them they were 3-4' tall, I was told if you lose 10% you were doing good, I lost 4 of them total and replaced them, But i fertilized them for 3 years twice a year, This pic was taken a few years back.
  16. Luke, How old are the arbors? I watered them in the first year, After that, I let mother nature take care of it.
  17. The newer Dehumidifiers are more energy efficient as well, The older ones were a hog.
  18. I found if you wiggle the cap while its still in the small tube a couple times before you take it off, It will be right at 1.00" on qpf in the small tube.
