  1. The cold air on the backside of next weekends system looks like it could pretty frigid too.
  2. 12z Euro is a good hit for next weeks system on 12/16 for most.
  3. A lot of the earlier AM giddiness has fallen off i see as the 12z Op GFS popped a big hole in the balloon the next 16 days or so, The block plays a roll on how its being handled by the models so your going to see some runs that will whiff.
  4. I can tell you all about how the block works trust me.
  5. A few are, Need to have more patience here, Its going to snow, It always does.
  6. Some in here need coddling and reassuring that everything is going to be alright.
  7. DIT ripping back bong hits between the IPA's.
  8. 12z GFS looks to get snow into CNE this run, Pretty amped @H5.
  9. Monday is a loss cause up here, Just watching the next one and the one after.
  10. Typically when the block relaxes, We've had some good snowstorms, I think this is a good range for the first siggy one in the Northeast.
  11. CNE/NNE will wait until the block relaxes some, I don't see any chances until after the 15th or so up here, 12/12 looks to be more of a SNE deal down thru NY.
  12. I see you've lost the handle on managing the asylum.
  13. Just looking briefly because i've been extremely busy, It looks like its rehashing all the same scenarios over and over again for the next 3 systems, Carry on, See you soon..........
  14. SE ridge will keep the -NAO in check a bit, The battleground areas should cash in away from the coast.
  15. As a GOAT coach has proclaimed in the past, It is what it is coming up, None of us can control it, Let it play out.
  16. Better clown maps coming............ GFS overestimates the accumulated snow depth for mixed precipitation events with marginal temperatures and underpredicts for events with very cold temperatures. The undesired snow depth predictions are associated with GFDL microphysics and the improper density used in the Noah land surface model for different frozen precipitation types. In this upgrade, the land surface model is addressed first by providing proper density to various frozen hydrometeors.
