35/30 here; maybe the heavier rates coming up from PA will help bring the temp down. It’ll be close in my area.

On the cmc clowns I’m located in that dark blue finger protruding into north west NJ... neat. (Ha, long way to go; for posterity only).

Flemington is tickling 6”; my area looking like 4” is a real possibility.

Understood that NYC proper may not accumulate, but I appreciate the continued discussion. Out this way we could be looking at 3-4” that might not melt before Wednesday. Maybe need to plow a bit.

Is that 5.4 at MMU for Monday? I did not expect that. Could be a big week for us in western Morris County

Forky just tampers the weenies... I am one of them, so I appreciate the reality check.

Still a few mood flakes falling; 1" on the slate patio. Roads were treated; watched them drive by twice. Road crews must be pumped. -

With all the doom and gloom aside, its been snowing here for the past 1:30, with accumulation on all surfaces, even the untreated road in front of my house. I will take it. -

It stayed at 32 until 11:30 am out here; dropping into the 20s tonight. With the wind, it’s cold. Woodstove is burning some cherry; smells great. The weather is what it is; sometimes I wonder if it wasn’t more enjoyable to track potential with out all of these “indices” telegraphing that winter is over, before it begins. I also have to remind myself that I live in North Jersey and not Vermont (at least until my wife gives me the go ahead to move up to the Green Mts.). -

In my experience most storms that track west of the Apps do not portend snow in the immediate tri-state region. -
Lots of rain out here. Had some good lightening and thunder continues now. Power surged a few times, but so far so good. Looks like this last line of storms has some poleward movement more so than off the stage right. Not training, but close.

Wood stove is cranking with some seasoned cherry. Smells great. Supposed to touch 32 tonight, it’ll be close. 47 now. This could be it for the ‘growing season’. -

Agreed; just curious. If the month stays warm who knows, maybe it’ll produce a few small ones. -

I’m actually hoping that I don’t hit the freezing point (though I live in area which will be very close) as I found a large, late season pumpkin plant growing in the hillside I cleared spring 2019 (dumped old pumpkins for deer last November). Plenty of blossoms open and a few baby pumpkins started. I’m curious to see how long it will make it. -
39 degrees currently. House temp got down to 60 before my wife requested the windows be closed. But, I held off turning on the heat, so that’s a win in my book.

38. Should do it again tonight.

45; two in a row.
