  1. It's been unreal. Seriously the best ever. Perfect 10 evening to top it off.
  2. Stein disagrees with the few kooks who think it's been hot. "It's the final #sunrise of #June 2022. In spite of the dry weather I have to rank this as one of the nicest June's I can recall. It's especially amazing compared to last year which had so many days too hot to enjoy. Amazing sleeping weather as well this year. #June30"
  3. Right? How can you beat dew points in the mid 50s! Best summer ever. Glad to see you've come to your senses.
  4. Pretty good cell up in Tippy and Tiger land. Hearing some booms from here.
  5. True but... Last year: Boston experienced 9 days in June where the mercury hit 90 degrees or higher.
  6. We should have secured our border with Connecticut. Build that Wall!
  7. Feels chillier than it should after the weekend heat.
  8. Whereabouts on 93? Any pictures? Not good for any tree but worse for the pines. The oaks should re-leaf during July but it's much tougher on the pines. Hopefully you get a wet spring next year otherwise you're looking at firewood.
  9. Sun came out just when it was time to go down.
  10. Beautiful day! And I hate to say it in the Connecticut hills.
  11. Maybe Boston can finally hit 90 today. Almost a month behind schedule. Hasn't been much in the way of summer heat this year. "The average date of the first 90-degree reading in Boston is June 8th, and we have not hit one officially so far at Logan Airport"
  12. Chamber is loving it. Screw the sweaty stuff. "The optimum combination for human comfort is a dewpoint of about 60 F and a RH of between 50 and 70% (this would put the temperature at about 75 F). The air feels dry outside when BOTH the dewpoint is below 60 F AND the RH is less than 40%."
  13. Temps in the upper 60s and low 70s with comfortable dew points. What's not to love! I thought you liked it hot?
  14. NWS lol... Those guys use the charts you hate.
  15. Does the old guy who owns it still do the tasting at Taylor Brook?
  16. I've made the same trip. Makes for a nice day.
  17. 84/55 feels a whole lot worse. I've gotten used to the cool weather
  18. Made to order by the chamber of commerce. Gotta love the comfortable dew points. It just keeps going and going and going..
  19. Stein: The average date of the first 90-degree reading in Boston is June 8th, and we have not hit one officially so far at Logan Airport. It’s not impossible that this weekend brings the first 90-degree day, but because Logan sits — basically — in the water, it could reach 90 degrees in downtown Boston and still only be 80 to 85 at Logan Airport. The heat will be neither noteworthy nor long-lasting this weekend, but many inland areas will reach 90 degrees. You can see that on Saturday, when the high temperature predicted by the GFS is near 90 degrees. Coastal areas should remain cooler.
