Not sure where you work but Woodstock and Pomfret in CT are nice

Both beautiful towns, especially Pomfret. I've lived in Southborough for only a few years and it's great, though sleepy. Couple minute drive from Marlborough or Framingham if you need something to do.

You guys may want to associate those 'anomaly' products at 850 mb with the actual temperatures at that level, when comparing NNE to SNE...

SNE 850 mb climate may in fact be warmer than NNE, where as the anomalies deviations are relative to the climate over that region - if NNE runs cooler, and both regions have the same 850 mb temperature ...the anomaly will appear greater up N.  But the anomaly is not associated with the BL heat potential - the scalar value is...

How 'bout  It's 73 in Morrisville Vermont and 63 in Southborough ma ?

This probably won't surprise you guys too much (especially the country folks in the far north) but we had a coyote roaming through our neighborhood as I was walking the little pooch around sunset yesterday. The little guy must've been hungry because as I started heading back I could see him shadowing us ever so slowly. Interestingly, he continued following us up my driveway even after I got the dog inside. I did manage to chase it off but its just insane how brazen the animals are right now. Wondering if the lack of human activity and the lockdown policies have had any effect on their population or behavior? Either way, that was a bit of a wake up call hah. Honestly, thought it was a curious dog initially but its movements were just a little off for it to be someone's pet that had gotten loose lol

    Good chance it was rabid

I haven’t been paying attention... what are you guys talking about?

High in the mid-80s today, hazy and sunny...and it’s a summer evening of 82/63 currently.

Overcast, 64 with a stiff breeze and I'm away from the coast

We’ve been mentioning a 5-6 day SNE heatwave much of the afternoon with potential for a couple big boy days. It’s coming

Looks to start midweek. I wouldn't be surprised to see 7-8 days.

We'll  call it a 4 for 4.  Sounds like Hall of Fame numbers.  Who knows, maybe we can eek out a bonus day tomorrow.  Missed out on the big rains, had to settle for a paltry 2.05" (so far).

And I'll say again, I am NOT the one on this board who calls for 'days and days of snow'.  I'll give you three guesses who does though.  :)

Looks like no big heat in the short term.  Peek of climate temps less than 3 weeks away.  We move.on.

MPM for the Win. Good call..
