Guidance continues to heat up next weekend and beyond. Pretty decent agreement on that. 90+ most of holiday weekend away from water

As we thought. I'm thinking we may see a couple days over a hundred.

I think we’ll take the Mets ideas and expertise over a set of charts that hasn’t been right in any season ever. Should be plenty of warmth and humidity next 10 days. Unless you missed the memo.. I’m a dew guy.. much prefer high dews even if it’s 78/70. I couldn’t care less about big heat unless it’s accompanied by high dews

How did your dry rain workout today?

We use to get some 1/8 and 1/4 sticks back in the day and they would make some pretty large craters as well as wiping out mailboxes and getting all the fish you wanted in a pond.......

1/4 stocks rocked! For fishing we would use 2 inch diameter steel pipe with screw-on caps loaded with black powder and match heads. If we were low on funds, it was Drano bombs. Very unpredictable however.

He sees that and envisions rains everyday . When reality is most of the days are mostly sunny and warm to hot. If it says likely , that’s the day there’s a chance of a pm storm. In the winter he always posts those and it shows snow or showers all 7 days lol. And then he asks where all the qpf went. I honestly didn’t think anyone even looked at that stuff. It’s useless

Oh Noes! running a 2" rain deficit for the month. Wildfires on the horizon  . As far as your never ending heat wave ? it reached 90 exactly once.

This does feel good and as fun as it was, this is much better for being outside doing literally anything but swimming than the big heat was.

Don’t hear any children crying either because they are cold ;).

    Preach it brother.

Many times they last years here. See 80’s, 90’s, 30’s

For god sakes man , if you're going to be a drought protagonist get your decades straight. You totally forgot the 1960s

Some max temps from this anomalous times... another good torch with highest anomalies certainly in NNE.  Thunderstorms held temps a little lower in some spots compared to recent days, but places that remained sunny the longest torched the best away from marine influence.

Champ must be boiling in the waters of Lake Champlain. Today's temp of 79 is a record for ANY day in summer, besting last year's record of 78 on July 30 & in 2013/1984 . #heatwave #btv #summer

Holy sh*t... BTV pulling a 96F today (two hourly obs of 95F too, that's high end heat).

00z obs are in with the max temps over 90F.  All of them seemed to be in the northern/western flank of New England, from NNH/NVT down through Berkshire valleys and CT Valley and into CT.
