  2. Nice bonus day in Eastern Massachusetts. It's been beautiful all morning.
  3. ". Per usual, the DIT is showing his high wind gust bias, continuing to forecast winds as high as twice the magnitude of other guidance, such as the GFS and Canadian deterministic models.".
  4. 37° to start. Hopefully it'll be the last of the 30s for a while.
  5. 50 here with an East Wind 30 mi from the ocean. Nice night for a fire.
  6. I'll gladly trade the '50s for less rain.
  7. Take your '70s and run. Actually doesn't look too bad next week. They've backed off the heavy rain amounts here. Connecticut can keep it. Luckily, given the progressive nature of the front, ensemble probabilities greater than 2" of rain remain below 10%, with ensemble probabilities of >1" of rain in the ballpark of 40-50%, highest across Connecticut
  8. Average temperature during Red Sox home openers is 56 degrees. • Coldest home opener was on April 2, 1971, when the temperature reached just 41 degrees. • Warmest home opener was April 15, 1941 — reaching 78 degrees. • Rainiest home opener was April 1, 2002 — totaling 0.93 inches. • Snowiest was April 9, 1996 — totaling 1 inch.

  10. Going to be a big swing today if we get into the mid-60s. 31° now.
  11. I can see that. Few and far between here. When you do get a nice one it's glorious. Tomorrow maybe.
  12. I guess I should have prefaced . I've never lived far from the coast. I kind of like November and December. Thanksgiving and Christmas, and anticipation of snowfall.
  13. April is the crappiest month of the year. It's not even close.
  14. Sledding in Massachusetts ain't what it used to be.
  15. I can't wait. This temperature in the '40s has got to go. Have you hit 80 yet?
  16. Can you do one near Providence? That area has been getting bombed. Thanks
  17. "Upper level closed low vertically stacked with the stalled surface low pressure over the Gulf of Maine begins to retrograde back towards southern New England passing off shore to the east. Enough forcing and wrap around moisture on the west side of the low will bring an area of light to moderate showers south into eastern portions of MA and much of RI. " It had so much fun the first time it figured it would come back for another go.
