Pretty sweet day just reached 50. Looks unlikely we will reach the 60s and '70s like some predicted.

I wouldn’t know the difference if I saw one though.
The collar, or ring is closer to the Head than a nightcrawler. I wouldn't say they jump but they definitely move faster than a nightcrawler. Dig up a piece of your garden they're probably there.

40/24 breezy, had to light the wood stove.
I don't have a problem with that

Can’t say I’ve heard of a jumping worm.
Nasty ass things. Noticed them for the first time last year. Nothing's going to stop 'em. They'll finish what the Gypsy moths started. Might take a little longer.

Pics?
They look just like nightcrawlers but they move much quicker. Also the ring around the neck is smooth not grooved like on a night crawling. I'm sure they're in your garden.

The next plague. They're all over the place...
‘Jumping worms’ are spreading around New England. And that has ecologists worried.
Amynthas worms, which are native to East Asia and are often called “snake worms” or “jumping worms,” can have a devastating impact on forest ecosystems. They can be found all over New England, but concerns about their spread have increased in recent years. -

Question a lot of us have been discussing and wondering about you. How come you disappear in the winter on here, but are very active from Napril into October?
Got to get the crops in while the Sun's not shining.

When will the 5 days of straight rain and 40’s and wheel begin? Asking for a few friends who haven’t been able to log onto the forum since seeing those forecasts last week
I saw six straight days of rain and temperatures in the 30s. Not sure what forecast you're looking at?

38F and pouring rain at 1,500ft.
Snow level seems to be around 2500-3000ft. Already a quick inch at 3,100ft snow board.
Lovely cold squally weather.
Best spring ever!

Feels nicer this morning - what a difference 5-8 degrees and some broken sun makes.
Huge this time of year.

Not our finest weather to end the month of April. A good amount of clouds, cool temperatures, and busy breezes to end the week. Highs in the low 50s Thursday & Friday. Improvement will move in over the course of the weekend and it's looking like a great #MayDay on Sunday! #wbzh·r#wbz

Pretty nice day. High 50s and a decent amount of sun. Feels much warmer without the wind.

So S NE would you trade less winter snow for more dew points in the 70s. Or no summer time dew points in the 70s but 50 percent more winter snows?
