We also have to take into account that west and southwest NE can occasionally get those 85F/70F days while ENE rots at 55/49, so they can run more "summer" days May into June. Seems to me "deep summer" begins earlier in June out there, while it's more like mid-late June further NE.
I've known quite a few people who've rented houses on the cape in June to beat the high rates. They only do it once.

Lol. It comes and goes. I’m sure I’ll regress because it’s inevitable.
But yeah…like Scott said, we’re not getting that much snow. Maybe 1-2” (spot 3 maybe)…but it’s the nasty wind/snow combo that’s making it such a great feel tonight. Ground blizzard with big gusts and the occasional heavier snow squall. It just feels like deep winter out there tonight. Not a passing spring storm.
Doubt you'll regress much. It's a good area. maybe not always the jackpot it's rare to be skunked.

18z NAM looked a bit south of 12z for Wednesday but the fronto sig might be a little better where the precip is. Someone from CT over to SE MA could score a little surprise with that. Maybe pike region too.

18-19 was normal and so was last year. Even in bad years we’ve done ok.
I'll bet Will's area is much the same. Rarely a stinker relative to other areas.

8" Final....just barely hit my range.
36.5" on the season.
That's all you've had for the season? I can see why you're whining.

I have not kept a seasonal tally this year so I can't give a seasonal total. But for this year, my new locale has ended up being pretty decent. A couple surprises (like the night-time band that added 7" to the blizzard total) have made things okay. At least as of 2/25.
What did you get today? I just stuck a ruler on top of my car and it said 9 in. Figure it's been packing down for a while.

Some high-end brief periods of snow/wind. These are days when kids can blow like tumbleweeds through the base area. They assume the athletic stance and enter the white abyss. Trying to keep each other in sight.
The video and noise can really give some texture to the scene. Wish I could figure out how to post it from groomer JStaff. The winds were insane with the squalls. Zero visibility stuff even below 2,000ft.
Great stuff thank you!

More than 23 thousand customers are without power in Mass right now. The bulk of outages are in Suffolk, Plymouth, Bristol & Barnstable Counties

Conservatively eyeballing about 7", I"ll await the official NWS measurement. Never really paid attention--surprised.

It just never stopped. And yeah I'm guessing at least that.
