  1. I must be missing something because I'm not seeing any snow on HRRR.
  2. Weird. I'm pretty close to BWI and that was...….uneventful. It was breezy and rained hard for a minute or two. Had a couple rumbles.
  3. Looks like this thing is donzo, especially if that final line near Winchester is just standard stuff like a poster above alluded to. Given some of the parameters we saw leading up to this storm, it looked like some of the official forecasts were way underdone. Maybe they knew something we didn't looking at those models and parameters, cause it busted in about every single way possible. Shocking there won't even be any synoptic wind.
  4. So much for the forecasts wrapping this stuff up by 19z.
  5. I thought the wind wasn't coming until after the storms cleared out?
  6. Latest HRRR looks awful but it doesn't match current radar at all, so it's probably worthless.
  7. Those hoping for severe weather won't want to look at latest HRRR or 3k NAM. Very isolated stuff.
  8. Latest HRRR is pretty meh. Some scattered storms.
  9. 0z 3k NAM has a line of severe storms roll through in the 3-5 AM time period and then nothing but a few isolated cells after that for Central MD.
  10. Not unpopular to me. I don't want tornadoes. Who the hell wants a tornado damaging their property, or even worse, a potentially high-end tornado killing people?
  11. Business picked up in a hurry. Pretty concerning for what we could see tomorrow.
  12. Yeah, that big line doesn't really form. Parts of it do but it's hit or miss. There is a big, nasty line to the south that almost seems to race due north that looks real ugly.
  13. It looked pretty freaking intense to me. I don't remember the last time I saw a simulated radar look like that for 10+ hours.
  14. 3km is just hour after hour of storms rolling through. Pretty wild from around 2-3 am through early afternoon.
  15. Ahhh, just seeing that now on TWC. Does look like big damage there.
  16. I guess it's still early but it seems like there isn't all that much happening down south, thankfully. Seen a number of tornado warnings out but I haven't seen any official tornado reports or damage yet.
  17. FWIW, DT posted an update last night and said he doesn't see any significant severe weather for Central MD area.
  18. Really strange. I get the most recent one issued from about 70 and north, but the one south......weird that there is a lot of wind in that area.
  19. What's up with that Severe T-Storm Warning box? There's nothing in it.
  20. Unless I"m missing something, round two for this evening/tonight is looking really bleak on radar.
  21. Cleared out quickly this morning, so that can't hurt.
  22. Agreed. Feel like the bulk of it dives southeast of most of us.
  23. This seems like one where our far northwest friends have a shot but down closer to the cities, we are likely enduring one final heartbreak to a wretched season. Hope it holds on and pans out for the rest of you though. Would make for a really fun Monday.
  24. Now would be a really great time for a big snowstorm to show up on all the models so we have something to track. Or for it to be 70 and sunny every day so we all have something to go out and enjoy. Stay safe, everyone!
