  1. Just shoot the d@#n puck. And crash the net
  2. I agree They've played some pretty exciting baseball so far . Not talented enough to overcome mental errors though. Like running through the stop sign in the bottom of the 10th and getting tagged out in a run down.
  3. O's are who we thought they are.
  4. Caps back to trying to be too cute with the puck. Shoot the puck!!!!!!!
  5. Caps finally playing playoff hockey in the 2nd and 3rd periods. Too bad it took to the 4th game
  6. Im hopeful that the Angelos son's don't handcuff the GM the way Peter did. With Elias coming in last year I think we are seeing a difference in the way things are run. Putting alot of money and resources into international scouting. Using analytics like the other 29 mlb teams. I think we may already be seeing a difference in pitching from the analytics side. The Orioles can spend money on free agents but they have to have a nice blend of both home grown and free agent signing. With a medium market budget you've got to be good at doing both. I do think holding onto CD is stunting the growth of the current roster of young players. At this point wether he is on your team or you cut him he's not helping the team either way. You want to give as much playing time as possible to the young prospects to find out who will be on the next "good" Orioles team. We are already seeing what playing time is doing for Ruiz and Santander. Ryan Mountcastle should be getting the opportunity to DH/1b. He has hit well at every level. Would love to see what he could do at the MLB level.
  7. Looks like im going to be wrong with my prediction for the O's. Glad to be wrong. Love the way they've played so far. They definitely don't seem intimidated by anyone. Even though they lost they really took it to Scherezer today.
  8. Lol pinch hitting with Chris Davis in the 9th. Of course he struck out.
  9. The more I see Ruiz at 3rd base the more I like. Solid glove and a decent bat. Don't know if the Os will keep winning but they have plenty of fight in them.
  10. Wow. Caps are done. Been out played. They have that look of when an experienced team suddenly looks old.
  11. Orioles pitching. 2019 era- 5.59 2020 era- 4.41 4.41 isn't anything to brag about but it's a huge improvement over last year.
  12. Chris Davis has so many holes in his swing it's lol. Im not sure theres another regular right now in MLB that's a poor a hitter than him. It's just crazy.
  13. Really caps???? Come ooooonnnn
  14. Snow is serious bizzness...... In all seriousness I would have to think we are due for a fluke or too. The last few years south of us has gotten hit. Last year was the first year in 20 years that I've lived in Northern MD that I got less than 5" of snow for the season. Even in the worst years at DCA or BWI Ive managed 10" to 15".
  15. We have the WDI on our side for NAO help. After 10 years it's got to break our way eventually right??
  16. The defense from Ruiz at 3rd and Hayes in center field has been impressive. I think they both have a chance to be part of the "next" good Orioles team. I think Hayes will start hitting. He has hit at every level as long as he's been Healthy.
  17. Your right there announcers aren't good. I miss Gary Thorn and Palmer
  18. Doolittle looks like he has dead arm. Was throwing batting practice fastballs at 88-89. I guess Sevirino watched his HR too too long because he got plunked his next AB
  19. 2 more years. And it's easy for me to say to cut him because it's not my money lol. I think he is a high character guy. Good clubhouse guy.
  20. Ryan Mountcastle can apparently hit the cover off the baseball and is a 1b/dh type. Definitely could be an Oriole at this point I just think at some point you've got to cut your losses.
  21. Shhh. Still got to through the ninth. Lol
  22. Why is Chris Davis still an Oriole? He still has a couple years left on his huge contact but he flat out can't hit. Batting .125 this year. Its just silly running him out there everyday. It's the equivalent of the pitchers spot in the NL. I feel bad for the guy. He's really a good dude. Does alot in the community and does alot of charity. He just has so many holes in his swing that his hit zone in so small.
  23. Just what we need for winter.
