    Def not surprised FCPS went to all virtual to start. They see numbers and don't want to take the chance. I get it. I want my kids back to school. They need it. But the schools are clearly valuing the health and safety of not only the kids but staff as well. Its time we start doing that more and more. Lives matter more. Its not about profits or any of that. We will make due because when faced with challenges human beings can do amazing things.

    Only .33" for me but I'm not sure how right that is given my rain gauge on the VP2 got clogged. Had to fix after the storm and afraid I lost some precip readings from that.

    Its not even so much that kids can get it while at school but kids can't control the actions of their parents who could bring it home and unwittingly pass it to their kids. And then THEY transmit it around the schools.

    Schools have to do whats best for our kids. Period. Stop making it out to be some political game. We trust our kids to them 3/4ths of the year. I want them to keep my kid safe. And if they feel they can't do that in a classroom setting then we make it work some other way. Humans have built amazing things. We won't end our society because Johnny cant draw 2+2 on a chalkboard and give a book report that he barely read.

    Getting a storm for the second time. First one was worth .18”. This one is stronger but less rain.

    I was stupid enough to go lay out and work in my tan with one of my kids(daily ritual for her) and I was sizzling. You know what happens when they make pork rinds? That was me. Bacon was frying

    High temp so far has been 98.6°. Combined with DP of 80 I got a HI of 116° according to the VP2
