Heat fail in those last 2 gfs runs. A couple of hot days in there, but nothing like 12z.
Especially that 0z run. Replaces the extreme heat with FROPA’s and refreshing Canadian airmass.
The central plains still roast wire to wire though. What a brutal summer for them. -

Hopefully some bangers as we had into severe season
severe season? lol. We don't live in the mid-atlantic or south. True severe weather is basically nonexistent in ENE

Can someone tell me what this gigantic video advertisement that pops up in the middle of our forum page is and how to get rid of it?
I haven't been on the forum since early March and this site is just covered in ad's now. It really slows down the site for me, quite annoying.

About 2.5" in Chelsea.
Had a really good burst between 7-8 despite light radar returns.
Was only expecting about an inch so pleasantly surprised.
-
About 7.5” here with continued light snow. Roads are an absolute mess with everything freezing up after the CF passed through. Crews will be out all night trying to clean this up.
Very deep winter feel. -
After some light drizzle the last hour it’s starting to change back to snow as the CF looms nearby

Not that it'll accumulate on anything not already covered. Sun angle FTW
Still accumulating on what matters, snow that's being measured
-
OES here and around Boston. Comes down really good between big fat flakes and smaller ones. Really cool to see
-
6.5 here an hour ago. Was hoping for at least 6. Not a bad storm. Amounts seem pretty uniform for everyone NoP. A general 6-8. Meso clowns did a good job picking up on the cut back snow amounts in the final 12 hours. They were all inflated until then like some said.
Back and forth between sleet and heavy snow. Precip just about over for "round 1".

6.2. Way over performance
Just under 6” here. Hopefully Logan reports 6” but I think they’ll come in just under.
Was only expecting maybe an inch.
Over performer for sure! -
At least an additional 2” here so would be well over 5” total. Logan reports similar I would think at 1am
-
Shocked to see about 3” outside!
Some really fluffy high ratio stuff -

I wondered why I didn't remember this event. Look at that. 2.5 in a 6-12, and people have the temerity to bitch about a foot.
Yeah, that's pretty bad in here. Couldn't believe I was reading that lol

Poor @CT Rain
Looks like Eastern LI lost all 2 feet of theirs can’t really tell though. Think they had all rain yesterday.
Deep winter still in 90% of SNE.

Sounds like everyone's pack survived and is now bullet-proof.
Maybe just the Cape lost its pack?
-
Regular pack survived the melt with about 3"-4" left this morning. Got a solid inch or 1.5" of sleet today. Untreated roads are ice packed down. That combined with FR/Sleet/snow covering everything and its deep winter out there for the next few days.

25 in Chelsea.
What a mess outside and it's only going to get worse on untreated surfaces when the sun goes down
-
Down to 28 in Chelsea and mid-20’s are not that far north of here.
Absolute sleet fest here. Untreated roads are a mess and getting worse -

3k over 2" liquid here as well.
20" in store?
This is quickly turning into a non-event south of MA-NH border, even for ice.
Gonna be a lot of frustrated weenies on this side of the board but you enjoy. Probably will have the pack until May at this point.

That was the all timer. And then relentless cold keeping walkways treacherous for weeks.
It really was, for all of the Northeast I think that didn't get snowed on of course.
Even in NNJ we got over 4" of sleet! I remember walking to a friend's house which was less than 0.25 miles away and I was so exhausted and shot after walking in it. It really is fascinating.
Maybe this will be a toned-down version of that. A lot of sleet coming I think.

I certainly didn’t give him a pass. But you’re right others did.
Yeah no, that post wasn't directed at you at all. You just happened to post something related, so I thought I'd piggyback.
You know what I'm saying though and see right through the BS like I do. Others unfortunately just instigate.

Cuz he’s a dumb kid obviously. Shows he’s not learning much that’s for sure.
I think it's because everyone on here just gave him a pass when I called him out a couple of weeks ago and said "oh well! He's just being silly. He reminds everyone of James with his silly thoughts and extreme outcomes for every storm" or whatever was said.
Everyone basically said it was okay then, so he took that as a complement and continued his fantasy antics with events and models of choice.

Logan only to 14 last night. I’m guessing there was a dramatic difference once you moved away from the shoreline even by a mile or two.
Would of been interesting to see a wunderground map this morning. If anybody happened to take a screenshot of the regional temps, would love to see it

So essentially that means my electric bill is going to go up 112%?
