  1. Snow began here in Jersey City Heights ~12:30
  2. Light snow. Beautiful dendrites.
  3. I might have anecdotal bias here but when I was living in Bergen county those winds just almost never verified for blizzard warnings. It’s rare inland. I definitely think we’ll hit the criteria here in JC.
  4. Another thing to watch is the surface low does head east off the coast but eventually makes a move northward kinda like a J as the mid low fully captures and stacks. At the top of the J is where we sorta see the stall or minor loop. Not sure if either will fully happen but something to watch as we nowcast. Some of the mesos show this motion a little better than the globals show.
  5. They walk in acting like they own the place.
  6. There’s going to be a western deform band. Where it is has yet to be determined but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was where the rap shows it. A few other mesos have it.
  7. Can I hang out in here. The randos that pop up during storms are annoying me.
  8. It’s a hybrid of sort but there’s always nuances with these storms.
  9. The birth of your kid has been a good omen. We protect.
  10. Won’t be in Manhattan for this unless I’m deranged enough to try and take the path in to film a bit. Might be worth it for this one. We’ll see how dangerous the conditions are.
  11. It’s always a disaster either way.
  12. The new euro run at hr 30 actually has the surface low slightly north of the GFS at the same time frame lol
  13. Occluding low, kinda checks out.
  14. Nam showing up sloping high snows in the Catskills. Nice.
  15. HRRR basically stalls south of Montauk
  16. Considering the direction this storm has gone IDK if that's as damning as you think it might sound.
  17. I don't know if I've ever seen verification scores on the SREF. Anyone know?
  18. Probably a good spot. It's going to be fun out there.
  19. Euro mostly held serve. Weird QPF output. Slightly north, maybe.
