Pretty while it lasts but it looks like back edge is less than an hour away, unless we can get some sort of pivot - not sure that was forecasted though. At least we have added at least an inch on to the seasonal total!
Grabbed a fresh bottle of Casamigos to have with a little sparkling water. Nothing too exciting, but a nice mood enhancer for the beautiful scene outside right now. Down to 32F and moderate bordering on SN+.
Made the mistake of settling into a tv show, just got up and looked outside and it is pouring snow! Must have picked up an inch in the last hour. 25F SN at 815 pm - Haymarket
A little snizzle and 26F at 420 in Haymarket. Measured 7 inches at 10:30 am and the snow shut off since then until now. Well-timed snow falling with minimal sun angle .
The tips of the grass have been gone here in Haymarket for a bit, but I also gave the lawn a proper end of season cut at 2 inches right before Christmas.
Just went on my first Jebwalk of the storm. Moderate snow with somewhat fine flakes, that will be very easy to shovel, but also that are piling up quickly.
