  1. Wind driven snow with a few pingers still mixed in. Temp drop has been impressive down to 33F from 40F at 6 am
  2. Beautiful scene to wake up to this am. Looks like we picked up another .25 over night. Some decent size flurries falling and around 2 inches on the ground.
  3. Beautiful snowfall. Not a blade of grass showing, so my unofficial accumulation is 2”. Always set the mower to 2” for the last mow of the season.
  4. That Bristow Bubble can be difficult to penetrate at times.
  5. Can confirm SN+ in Haymarket. Pavement starting to cave
  6. Same area. Flipped to snow for a minute, back to a drizzle, and back to snow flakes again now.
  7. Absolutely cranking snow right now. Up over 2 inches and starting to pile up quickly.
  8. Snow rates have been steadily picking up over the last hour. 18/14 at 3:40.
  9. Moderate snow and Route 15 has caved. 18/14 just shy of 2 pm.
  10. 19/9 about to settle in with some bourbon, football, and snow falling for a couple of hours. Lovely Sunday.
  11. Not underestimating at all. I have zero scientific support for my assertion. Just a weenie who has a gut feeling. 17/3 as an obs.
  12. I have lived here long enough to understand our climo. History says we get 2-3 inches, a little bit longer then expected period of frozen precip, and then rain. However, for some reason I have my weenie goggles on. Maybe it’s the bourbon talking, or maybe it’s the euphoria of the Bills pounding the Pats. Either way I am glass half full on this one.
  13. 18/4 mostly clear skies in Haymarket. Gut feeling that we are going to hit the Cap Weather Gang boom forecast of up to 6 inches.
  14. Dry air trying to push into W PWC, back edge maybe 10 miles away from me in Haymarket.
  15. Awesome scene here in Haymarket. Smaller flakes but they are falling at a great rate and sticking to everything. Unofficially at least 3 inches so far and piling up quickly right now.
