    Looking forward to the rain. Too many fires around here. The fire at the Glassboro Wildlife Management Area is just a couple miles from here. The wind is out of the south now and the smoke has engulfed my neighborhood. Here's a couple photos from over the last couple days. Evesham Twp fire. Glassboro Wildlife fire.

    Was out on my local bike path today. There's a section that crosses a small swamp, and this is the first time I've ever seen it dried up. You can see the water line on the trees where the level normally is.

    We've had some seriously beautiful weather, but I can't remember a drought like this. My weather station hasn't recorded a single drop of rain this month and only 0.75 inches of rain since August 29. And judging by the models, this October may very well be the only month I've ever recorded zero measurable rainfall. Crazy!

    I did see some photos from Florida as well. My phone had no problem capturing it. Will have to check the SLR tomorrow to see what was captured.

    It peaked again and was actually naked eye visible. Much more brilliant this go.

    Best I could get with the drone and all of the light pollution. Needed a camera to "see" anything.

    With our beautiful weather here and friends still in Orlando, I'm all geeked out right now. lol

    The weather down here in Orlando has been crap for last couple of days, but today is actually pretty nice. The calm before the storm, I guess. Wish I could stay to check out this beast, but flights are gonna be a mess for the next few days.

    They won't be open. I'm at Universal and they have already announced their closing. They have hotel staff that bring their families and pets and ride it out while working.

    And then down to 897. Crazy. I'm in Orlando now with a flight out tonight. It's a bit eerie watching the hotel and the area prepare. Lots of people checking out early, everything outside being put into storage. Strangely quiet for such an active resort. Hopefully nothing happens to my flight or else I'll be spending a few extra days down here. MCO is shutting down tomorrow morning.

    At the Freedom Mortgage Pavillion in Camden. One of the longest lasting, brightest, and most colorful double rainbows I've ever seen. Has been around almost 30 minutes now and still going strong.

    Temp down to 62F now, 0.37" of rain. One of the best storms of the summer. lol

    Nice little storm. Temp down to 70.

    Ended up with 1.26" yesterday. 4.1" on the month....almost double July's total already.

    Got hit with a blast of 6 in/hr rates. Up to 0.4" in no time. Back to moderate rain now with a few rumbles of thunder. Temp down to 76F.

    Picked up 0.19" of rain yesterday. Got missed by everything this morning. 71F

    It's currently 60.2F. That's the lowest temp since June 16 (57.6F).

    I said the same thing. Probably too much money. I much prefer the smaller venues. That was by far the biggest concert I've been to. It was cool to experience a crowd like that, though. My phone said the crowd noise peaked at 115 dBs. Crazy loud.

    Not great, really. It was really loud and there's too many angles reflecting sound. I could hear the symbols 3 times. lol. Was a great time, though.

    Ended up with 2.39" on the storm. Got lucky with the rain last night, too, for the concert. Didn't think it was gonna happen earlier in the week.
