    Just had the "severe" storm roll through. Missed most of the rain, but got the strongest winds, at least according to radar. Nothing severe, but gusts of 30-40 mph. Temp went from 76 to 64. Pretty cool storm for about 30 seconds.

    This weather is too perfect. Currently at the low this morning of 52.3F. Dew is at 44 and the wind is gusting to 20 mph.

    Have 0.17" of rain so far. Temp peaked at 81F just before 11, now down to 72.

    What a misty, overcast, miserable weather day. I love it! Such a relief from that sweatbox people call Florida. High of 72F today, currently at 70.5. 0.05" of rain on the day.

    Missed the storm at home, didn't get anything in Florida, but just flew by a good one over the Outer Banks. There's nothing like lightning from 37,000 feet.

    1.55" of rain at home so far. A heat index of 118F with an 81F dew down here in Florida. Can't wait to get back to normal temps tonight.

    Wasn't expecting to be paid by NOAA today, but here we are. lol. Anyway....only got to 83.1F today and now the dew is down to 60. Finally pretty nice out.

    Caught the thinnest, weakest part of the line. Picked up 0.16" of rain. Puts the the monthly total at 2.83". However, 2 inches of that occurred on one day...in one hour. Not much rain for the rest of the 743 hours of the month. Just need that September or October tropical system and we'll be good!

    Sea breeze is kicking off tons of convection to my south east. Currently have something forming directly above me. Hopefully get something out of it. Hit a high of 90.3F today...now at 81 with a dew of 72.

    That is confirmed. It peaked at 83.8F last night.....which may be a new record? Primed for tropical season.

    Low of 61.4F this morning. Currently 67 with a dew of 53. Finally have the windows open!

    Got hammered this morning. 1.93" of rain in an hour with about 1.5" of that falling in just 20 minutes. Had a max rain rate of 6.78"/hr.

    Here, too. 90.2F. Another sweaty day. To top it off, there is a chemical truck venting fumes in East Greenwich Township, which has the entirety of Gloucester County smelling like shit. NJDEP recommends staying inside. Yeah, the heat index already has me there. lol
