  1. I explained the reasoning behind your comment and what Michael Ventrice tweeted. BTW, good to see you brother!! Looking forward to some winter tracking with you again this year. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  2. To be fair, each longitudinal/latitudinal line is approximately 60 miles from either N-S or E-W. Looking at what Michael Ventrice posted and plotting, it does look like it's 140 miles wide. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  3. Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public Schools announced closures from Wednesday to Friday. I believe College of The Albemarle and Elizabeth City State University are doing the same thing. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

  7. Mandatory evac of Outer Banks of Dare County starting at noon today for areas in yellow. Red areas at 7am tomorrow. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  8. I noticed that about five minutes ago, Brad P. stated in a reply tweet that modeling was coming north with the track. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  9. He explains things quite well. He has sound reasoning behind what he says. I sit on the northern end of the Albemarle Sound. Anything that comes in aeound MHX and rides north (just to my west) is a doomsday scenario for my location and Hampton Roads. Couple that with the drenching that has been going on since last week and, well, it isn't good. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  10. I'm just sitting here and taking it all in. After the debacle that was Matthew around here in October 2016, I'm not too fond of anything over 6" of rain. Just sharing what @crankywxguy posted on Twitter. He favors a more northward situation. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  11. @SteveVa how did you guys fare yesterday evening with the storms that rolled through. I was watching impressive lightning strike rates on the laptop while it was occurring. Looking to the north from Elizabeth City towards Virginia there was a huge and beautifully formed anvil cloud with amazing veins of lighting moving through it around 730 or so. We missed out on that, but we did pick up a quick .25 of an inch around 0330 this morning from a quick mover.
  12. Drizzly rain here, but that's what was expected. I'm happy for all who get to cash in, especially those MA guys like @BobChill.
  13. Nope. You're not pulling me back in to track winter snow until November. Nope. Not gonna do it. Well... Maybe just this one time.
  14. Thank you much. We are. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Were at 14” for the season here 4 miles WSW of ECG. Our average is 5.8”. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Getting absolutely pasted right now. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. A few pingers here just west of Elizabeth City on Highway 17 South near the Wal Mart. Lots of rain.
  18. @SteveVa and I are waiting patiently for the turnover (if it happens). Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Latest from AKQ in regards to ORF/ECG later this evening.
  20. @SteveVa, this is a really weird graphic for the high end. 5"? Really? C'mon man.
