1. I hope so. I just don’t see it. Looks like typical cold chasing moisture unless the LP slows down some. .
2. I will see your 1970’s and 1980’s on the OBX and raise you March 2 & 3, 1980. We had 28” in southern Camden County, NC. I had just turned 10 and that was the most epic winter I remember. The whole of February was endless snow it seemed. .
3. If it happens, I will pay respect to you. LOL .
4. I live right there (below Chesapeake, VA) just inland from OBX and I doubt that. .
5. Let the 10 day monitoring start!!!!! LOL Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
6. That’s a familiar saying. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
7. Well, if my local forecast is indicative of what’s to come for Eastern N.C., I have a high of 33° next Monday, followed by 50’s by Wednesday. Some arctic blast. Lasts all of one day before moderating to temps that I’ve seen for the last week. Upper 40’s to low 50’s is not my idea of winter blast. Sorry. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
8. Not sure if anyone can see it, but light snow falling in Carrollton, VA. .
9. @SteveVa Virginia Beach public works and VDOT we’re out brining the roads in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake this morning. I can’t speak for Suffolk, Norfolk, or the cities on the Peninsula (Hampton , Newport News, or Williamsburg) but it looks like they think they’re getting some wintry weather this weekend. .

11. Sorry. My bad. Should have said Middle Peninsula. Northern Neck is the next piece jutting out into the Chesapeake. Also cuts right across the Eastern Shore of the DelMarVa. .
12. That 540 line is through the Northern Neck of Virginia. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
13. Well, being in Elizabeth City, that surprises me quite a lot. .
14. Old man in what looked like a grayish white bathrobe was walking down my street earlier. Had this huge cane. Thing was a tall as he was. He had this killer hipster beard along with sandals. I’ve never seen him before, but all the animals in the neighborhood were following him. Weird. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
15. I already know that all I’m getting is rain for NE NC and SE VA, but I’m here to see what goes on out west. Hopefully you guys score, but it kills me to see folks living and dying with each model run. .
16. Look at all the lemmings cliff jumping and climbing back up only to jump again with each successive model run. .
17. Very nicely done. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
18. They’re normally quite conservative, at least if my memory serves me. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
19. I think me,@SteveVa andSENC are on the outside looking in on this one. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
20. Yeah. I’d be satisfied with an inch or two of snow during daylight hours. LOL Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
21. Gonna rain in Hampton Roads. Count on it. .
22. If that were a temperature forecast I’d be okay. 70” of rain in a calendar year for a non-tropical area is bonkers .
23. Per GFS, I’m looking at anywhere between 1.75”-2.25” of QPF. It is unreal. The ground around here is saturated already. Our normal rainfall for the year is 48.50”. We have blown past that. I’m already at 65” for the year and fully expect to hit 68” before 2018 is said and done. That is insane. .
