I ended up with .25. The rain today looks like it's being stubbornly north in Kentucky.

Today's rain was a total dud here. It rained west of here all day and then it moved over my area finally and was a 20 minute light shower.

It looks like it's going to warm up next week but rain chances return. It's been a nice first week of June. Not had to run my AC. It was in the upper 40s two mornings this week and the lower 50s this morning. Its 57 right now. I just leave the windows open and the house cools down to around 65 by morning, and it's not been able to get above 72 inside before the day starts cooling. Once the humidity returns, so will the AC.

That's tough that you guys missed out. It was a very rainy last 9 days of the month here, with nearly 7 inches for the month, mostly falling over those 9 days. The heavy storms on Friday into Saturday came in at 2.95 inches on its own. Hopefully we can all get some rain tomorrow. The weeks looks dry after that.

Had nearly 3 inches of rain overnight into this morning. Saw where Jefferson co had a funnel earlier.

This storm extremely lightning and rain heavy. Probably the biggest one of spring so far. Wild that took basically until a couple days before summer started to have thunder. Last time I think was either February or March.

It seems like every time you mention the upper Plateau tornado spin ups, one happens close to me. You may have something figured out for this region.

Looks like it may have indeed been a tornado according to Ken Weathers.

This is likely the storm that spawned the damage. This view is reportedly from about 15 miles south of the damage area and the storm was moving north. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1Fb2YSrvcB/

Damage from a storm this evening just east of here. Fellow that shared the photos said it was a tornado but I'd guess it was a downburst.

It finally got here overnight. It rained .25. Then it started back around 10 this morning and has been coming down pretty decently for the last hour. No thunder at all. I don't think it's thundered here that I remember, since spring started.

90 percent chance of rain today and it just fell apart before it got here and redeveloped south/east of here. Brutal miss on the forecast. Not sure why the atmosphere just isn't responding how models or I guess, meteorology would suggest.

Ran my air conditioning for the first time this year, today. Was 87 degrees. That's July weather. Still, one of the later times I've had before needing to turn the A/C on for the first time. It's the warm/humid nights that caused it. The house can get really cool on those dry nights when it gets down in the lower 50s, so much so that it doesn't heat up enough during even an 85 degree day, enough to need the A/C. I avoided it Sunday for that reason, it was 49 Sunday morning.
