I8z 3km NAM keeps us below freezing(other models have been to warm to this point) with pretty significant icing.

They are thinking up to a quarter inch of ice...Nam suggests closer to a half, but not sure I by that.
csnavywx
Have been getting absolutely crapped on by freezing rain. Lost what sleet was left about 45m-1hr ago. 29F.
SnowtoRain
27.5 now, some of the best rates all day with the precip...we shall see if we break the freezing mark, what time was the colder air supposed to filter back in, 8 to 9 pm?

Temp should mostly stall or only very slowly rise once the winds flip NW. Hour or two?

Mount Holly lowered the high temp here to 31, which aligns with guidance, which has the high between 30-32. Been rising fairly quick though the last hour or so. 28 now. SnowtoRain
Just now, CAPE said: Temp seems to be holding pretty steady at 29 now. Yeah took awhile to go from 28.8 to 29.3, I would imagine we go a bit higher, but looks like wind has shifted on the western shore so not much more time before colder air filters back in. Hopefully schools plowed today, tomorrow morning will be interesting. Easton plowed my road around 1230...so I am fully expecting a sheet of ice when I wake up tomorrow. csnavywx
Hearing the occasional branch crash outside. Ice casing on the sleetpack is thick enough to be relatively difficult to break now.
