Decided to head into E NY, found myself around the 84/Taconic intersection when I watched a storm flare up and move into Dutchess County. I went north and encountered some gusty weather and small hail. Tried to take 44 over to 8S to intercept the Torrington storm, but slow-moving cars got in my way. I'll post more content later. 1st pic is of the growing thunderstorm, 2nd/3rd are just ahead of the severe storm that dumped 1.5" hail in portions of Dutchess County.
