I think it would definitely spark some interest and it would be great for those interested in severe wx and those who want to learn more about severe wx. hopefully we can eventually fire it up to talk about any bigger wx event. part of it is having the mets skilled in the area willing to talk. That would be an excellent idea. I'm sure you could find mets to do the talks, maybe even some will be kind enough to talk about something even if it doesn't involve their area.
