As one of the few people with dual addresses in the forum, I think the main problem is when someone posts something that sounds great without specifying a location. It would be bad to post "wow 12z EURO is amazing" if it was really only amazing for NE Maryland, or whatever.

00z NAM is quicker than 18z EURO at kicking out the storm, FWIW. Yes, I'm looking at the NAM beyond two days.

Control has it, which tends to be a good sign. Only gets a trace DC-north but we love a good north trend. 1” line goes E-W through Charlottesville.

Nobody mentioned our first NAM'ing of the season?

Window has to be 99% closed for this weekend but I'm watching it if only to practice tracking something. 12z GFS and 12z NAM are worlds apart. Hope that doesn't stay a theme for the rest of the winter or this will be exhausting.
