  1. I'm sort of in the middle range. 2.8" of frozen precipitation is good, but when places 15 mi to my NW get 7", it's disappointing.
  2. I only got 2.8", while I was expecting 4-8". It's disappointing, but I know those in the Raleigh area did even worse.
  3. The nice snow I was getting just changed back to sleet.
  4. I'm still concerned about the warmth here in Chapel Hill. As of right now, all models give me a good dose of snow/sleet, but if this thing trends NW any more, I'll have the same problems those in Wake County are having. I still thing the Greensboro to Petersburg jackpot seems likely.
  5. I'm honestly more afraid of being too far NW than too far SE with this system. I'm afraid there will be more southeast trends in the future, leaving me with little snow.
  6. That's why I'm glad I live in Chapel Hill (when I'm not at college). It gives me just a little more room than RDU. But sometimes I wish I lived in Hillsborough or somewhere in northern Orange County so I'd do even better.
  7. Lol it has a low of 0 with a wind chill of -15F for Raleigh. I believe that's wind chill warning criteria.
  8. The Euro must have been pretty crazy. There were nine pages of posts in the three hours since I last checked the forum.
  9. I'm scared of a possible NW trend giving me rain.
  10. I sort of wish I could go to sleep and wake up Thursday. The not knowing what to expect is exciting but stressful. I keep having to prepare myself for a complete failure of a storm (i.e. no frozen precipitation whatsoever).
  11. We had some fog and rain the past few days but now it looks like it's back to clear and sunny. I wish we had more clouds and precipitation in the winter.
  12. It's been very windy the fast two days. Yesterday the wind made it hard to run or bike south. Today it wasn't quite as bad but the wind chill could be annoying. I'm looking forward to what looks to be our first freeze tonight.
  13. It was in the 60s and cloudy all day today. Overall, not bad weather. And it rained a couple nights ago, which was nice.
  14. It still doesn't look much like fall here, but today's weather was nice, staying mostly in the 60s.
  15. I think the area in the former U.S.S.R has been pretty cold lately.
  16. We had some thunderstorms Thursday night and it's been very nice since then.
  17. The weather sure has been beautiful since that cold front came thru.
  18. The ice is growing rapidly, having surpassed 2008, 2007, and 2011.
  19. 89/72/96. This is horrible second half of September weather.
