I did, posted about it up the page a bit. Came in strong considering how cool it is today. Mt. Holly mentioned 700mb temps at freezing, with some (small) hail possible, but didn't get any here.

Yeah my mowing plans got shelved till tomorrow, looks like. Got 0.60" here in about 20 minutes, with decent breezes, thunder and lightning, and the temp knocked down to 66F.

Would be nice if you could turn the badge display off. I mean since we all know we all have badges of some sort we don't really need the badge there, do we? Mirror image of the eagle could work but that could be heretical, lol.

^^^I'm using Chrome but no issues so far knock on wood. Hearing a good bit of thunder off to the southeast, looks like something popped up on the radar. A big towering cumulonimbus from this side, wonder if it will hold together to entertain Bbasile.

Up to 1.50" of rain for the day, nice installment with this latest round. Currently 71F, dp 69. Wet but comfortable outside.

^^^My guess is it will hold together, actually seemed to get a little beefier as it passed through here. Picked up a quick .20", with a little more incoming it looks like. Currently 77F, dp 69. Steamy!

Actually heard a cicada yesterday (annual variety I'm sure). For those who've been having the Brood X, have they wound down?

Got a little thunder, rain, and some breezes, overall not much but it did cool off a bit. The lead up to it was the most impressive. I'm not much of a photographer, but I've been trying to get a video of lightning bugs since they've been out in force here, pretty darn nice to watch. So this is what I got right before the bit of rain, not as many out as once it gets dark, but hopefully you can see the early crowd doing their thing (it's about 17 seconds long then loops):

I guess if you get to 97F you get the more impressive graphic. I like the one with the blazing sun, lol.

Made it to 96F, new high for the season here. Currently 95, dp 73.

I have a couple of electric heaters he can borrow. A kettle fire later on would be nice for winding down the day.

Hopefully you'll have a windscreen or something to block any breezes you might encounter up there. And maybe RedSky could bring his hammock in case you need suggestions or supervision.

Made it to 94F here, currently 93. DP dropped from 75 to 71 in the last hour or two, similarly to yesterday.
