  1. Dewpoint pumper too. One more day, then some relief.
  2. Got about .10" of rain here as well, a little surprise thunder and lightning around 1:45 am, a couple were pretty close. Very sharp audio as Birds was mentioning the other day with the middle of the night t'storms.
  3. Made it down to 53F last night, a little cooler than expected. Nice. Also the high temp a couple of weekends ago, lol.
  4. Man oh manoschewitz - what a beautiful day it's been!
  5. He couldn't help himself and had to sign up to make that post, haha.
  6. Got 0.35" of rain and a decent amount lightning here, lost power for about a half a minute. Now it's very comfortable out, and a good lightning bug show as well.
  7. Hear some distant thunder coming from this batch up around rt. 30/202:
  8. What if he was, lol. Let's ask JT.
  9. Lol. Yeah, so how'd you like having a snapper under your seat, or did you even believe me?
  10. I have a snapping turtle story from back in the 70's. I was driving to a store and noticed this snapping turtle booking down a driveway towards the road I was on which was a main road. So I pulled over, went and picked him or her up (by the sides of course, cuz they will reach around and try to bite you), and placed him on the passenger side floor of my car. He crawled under the seat. My plan was to release him into a creek near our house when I got home, and that was accomplished. The funny part is on the way back from the store, I picked up a hitchhiker (we used to do that back then), and I told him "just so you know, there's a snapping turtle under your seat". He didn't say anything, but I always wondered what his thought process was. Lol.
  11. Got 0.72" here so far, been off and on all day.
  12. How far are you from RedSky? He might have had a couple escape and ride the northeasterly breeze down your way. Still not a one to report down here.
  13. Thanks for the heads up. I went out and looked, but it was hard to tell, low to the horizon, and pretty bright, lol. I did see two Blue Herons flying right overhead at treetop height shortly after, so that made it all worthwhile. Cleaned the driveway off with a battery blower for a bonus. Still kind of humid out, currently 69F, DP 67.
  14. It should balance out....they've been kind of scattered, but we got some action here yesterday, so not feeling deprived at the moment.
  15. Same here, got about 20 drops with 3 hours of thunder in the distance. Liking the cool down in the forecast.
  16. Still a little leftover rain, sky is brightening. Up to 0.85", still 73F. Got some steamy windows inside, lol. This weather has been good for the lightning bugs, turnout has ramped up pretty good the last few nights.
  17. Been getting pieces of a string of thundershowers here, 0.51" so far, a few reasonably close lightning strikes, and some cooling breezes. About to get some more going by the radar. 73F, dp 70. Nice relief!
  18. Got one popping up just to the east of me and one to the west, only problem is they're moving SSW-NNE. Currently 85F, DP a juicy 76.
  19. Haven't really gotten much in the way of cooling clouds here, 93F currently, the high for the day, dp 72.
  20. Yeah, I checked the radar down there and this is not rain, lol:
