Feels like NC is the same as SC now and all the systems go north to VA.

Going the wrong way today on the models.

GFS is a complete miss with the Friday system this run.

Maybe we'll have it go our way this time. Just haven't been that lucky the last few years.

A lot to ask thr Euro to trend to the GFS. Usually it's the other way around when we actually get snow.

Well, the GFS is showing a snow threat here next Friday, but it's been looking less and less impressive the last couple of runs. Also had another system for the 19th that was snow and is now rain. Euro has just been showing rain for both systems. Hard to get on board the hype train without the Euro showing snow and the GFS being less impressive with each run.

Not sure what to expect here. Euro doesn't show much but has been trending better. GFS and the short range models have been looking great the last two days, but then the last NAM run did a complete 180. Could be anything from a dusting to 2 inches here.

Hoping Imelda stays away from NC and doesn't bring all her shoes with her. Gen X joke.

Had a good one come through. Pouring rain and lots of thunder and lightning. Had one strike very close, sounded like a bomb.

More of an instability threat here than a sheer threat compared to the other severe storms we have had this year. Going to depend on if we get any clearing today to add the juice needed for severe storms.
