While I agree to some extent, your assessment assumes the other team cannot field a defense thar can keep the other team out of the end zone. All they needed was one stop and they couldn’t get it. It’s a 2 sided game not just offense. I like the revised format where a FG doesn’t win it like it used to on your first possession (start with good field position drive 15 yards kick a 50 yarder) but, last night is a perfect example, if your defense cannot keep the other team out of the end zone when they absolutely need it, that team does not deserve to win

The thing is, neither could the KC defense keep the Bills out of the endzone, thus the argument that a coin toss should not carry so much weight in deciding the outcome..

All he is doing is giving the viewers the possibilities. We are smart enough to know what he is doing and we appreciate his contributions to keeping us safe in the Upstate. Chris is one of the best in the business.

Well in 2014 he mentioned GSP getting like 14" (as models showed), when we got less than 2".  He's learned to mostly take the conservative approach to accumulations, as NWS has, until this.  Which is why I'm surprised..

I  picked up an inch of fluff on the back side.  I'm calling it 5.5 inches of snow/sleet. Highest measured snow depth was 5 inches due to compaction from sleet in between snow. It's easy to see b/c I  can measure below and above the sleet/crust layer now and know what I lost to compaction. (measured 4 inches before sleet picked up, and snow under the crust layer only 3 inches now).

    Burrel,

that backside snow just arrived in my backyard.  Moderate snow at the moment.  Would be nice to pickup another 1/2” or so..

Brad P honking about a switchover to snow this afternoon/evening as well despite models not showing much in the way of organized precip or deform bands. Good to hear.

Weather Met here in the upstate (Chris Justus) calling for an additional 1-2” of backside snow..

i'm actually getting more bullish for backside snow for the Upstate. The changeover to snow line is racing northwest right now. It's already moved through gwinnett county, ga.  Appears it'll get here by noon and there will still be some convective type showers in the upstate for a few hours after that. Thinking we can pick up another 1-2 to cap off the glacier.

Thinking the same thing Burrel.  Snow reports in ATL right now..

We got about 6 inches of snow before the sleet mixed in. It's now 26 degrees with all sleet and howling winds. This storm has gone from fun and games to downright scary. Also, I was looking at future radar returns. If that moisture out in Alabama holds together, look out. We are going to either get hit with another round of heavy snow or a crippling ice storm.

I think that’s the wraparound snow that could visit us.  Let’s pray it’s snow and not ice!
