I think many of us wouldn't mind a "warm season", but we don't get those here. We get ungodly hot & humid summers that stretch on for 5 months and force many of us to hibernate in AC and not emerge until late October like some sort of winter-like locust.

I saw that and wondered what it meant. Active tropical season along the east coast? But Ninos tend to blunt Atlantic tropical activity so...??
At this range, could be nothing more than noise.
I’ve often wondered if JB puts out one forecast of cold & snow for the weenies and a more realistic forecast for WxBell’s paying clientele.
If they are the same forecast, I can’t believe WxBell has many customers at this point. You could do better and save money just going by NOAA 30-day outlooks.
I don't know if next year will be better, but it can it be much worse? I mean, is there a noticeable difference between .75" and snow and say .25" of snow??
Ground completely dry now from the winds, which are ripping. Some faint sun trying to poke through the clouds, 37F.
On to the Mikeymac Paul Revere blizzard -- never too soon to start a thread!!
I think she said that’s their (Ch10) in-house model. I’m definitely taking the under on that 1” for Lansdale.
Maybe a passing snow shower at best down this way.
March 13–I’m just glad we’re no longer 10 days away from thinking we could possibly, maybe have a long-shot of a chance at being 10 days away from something happening if everything lines up just perfectly.
Mist, gloom, crud, 42F. Yay spring!
Ah, the inevitable NAMing. Guess it was bound to happen one of these runs.
I’m sure the LHV on northeast sees accumulation. Down here my bar is set at pity flakes as the storm pulls away.
Chuck's gone! Hopefully it's just a start. This team's issues are far deeper than just a GM change.
Danny Briere is the new interim GM of the @NHLFlyers as Chuck Fletcher has been fired. I’m told an even bigger change is coming at season’s end as the franchise looks to fill “several roles.”
This could well mean a retirement of key individuals at the top. First: @giana_jade

I'm struggling to recall the last time I was under a winter storm warning and received 6"+. I'm pretty sure I was under a warning in Jan '21, but the IP held on longer than expected, so I didn't hit the 6" mark.
I think South Jersey and the Leigh Valley areas have cashed in recently, but do we SE PA folks need to go all the way back to Jan '16??? I'll have to check Ray's archives.
