  1. I like how that is more widespread. Doesn’t focus on a narrow are like some other models. Also, those red shades make a nice “S” for Stein
  2. Interesting. Ideally we’d like to establish a small garden that has blooms during the entire warm season.
  3. Gfs very similar to 12z. Absolute deluge in eastern areas. Tough forecast
  4. I was afraid of that. Probably going to hold off on putting down fert. I’m not counting on a rogue downpour moving through late in the game
  5. I hope we don’t end of Stein here with everything so far west
  6. Damn, that sucks. I’m just intrigued why the bottom for the most part was fine. Hopefully the whole tree isn’t zapped. and yeah, the tree is only like 3.5 feet tall at this point lol
  7. If I had Taylor swift tickets tomorrow night, I’d be trying to unload those
  8. That high up? I figured that may have been closer to the ground? I also didn’t know they were sensitive to cold like that
  9. Nice, we pray. Wash away the pollen, clean the cars, water the grass and plants
  10. We would take that. It’s dry around here. Would be nice to get all the vegetation some uniform watering
  11. We are also making a Pollinator garden to go along with our thuja green giants. purchased this: https://www.bluestoneperennials.com/POLLG
  12. Here are all the birds spotted at the feeder in my backyard along the woods
  13. Saturday afternoon could Be turning into a sneaky soaked
  14. They are small, they are mostly like ground cover type holly bushes. And I send them to my email and can resize from there.
  15. Sweet, I got a couple of bushes on clearance in like November 2 years ago from Home Depot. I don’t even remember what they are, but they literally shoot our feet of new growth a year, I’ve had to trim them each year so far. They get out of control. I’m hoping the green giants stay full, because I don’t want the crap look towards the bottom that those type of trees can give.
  16. Sure enough, both bushes are putting out new growth as of this week. Have to find a way to get the deer to stop eating them
  17. Bought a couple of thuja green giant arborvitaes today. Anyone have experience with these? We have slowly trying to create pockets of trees and bushes that will give our yard a bit of privacy. Description says they can grow to be 60 feet tall and grow 4-6 feet per year. That would Be awesome, but seems hard to believe.
  18. Started watering the front today. Hoping if I keep up with it early it won’t turn into the Sahara
  19. AC on tonight. Between the pollen and 78 temps inside the house, no choice
  20. Couple of my evergreen holly bushes took a beating from the deer again this year. Last year they put out new growth and recovered nicely. So far, no new growth on either plant. Don’t know what to do, because I’m not sure if they are “dead” or not.
